Stewardship - Volunteering Ministry

Mission Statement

The United States Council of Catholic Bishops defined Stewardship as:

"A Christian Steward is one who receives God's gifts gratefully, cherishes and tends them in a responsible manner, shares them in justice and love with others, and returns them with increase tithe Lord."

Stewardship: A Disciple's Response

  • Stewardship is choosing to live a life of gratitude, responsibility, generosity, and accountability.
  • Stewardship is giving your time, talents, and treasures to your Lord, community, and parish.
  • Time is spending time in pray or mediation reflecting the presence of God in our daily lives.
  • Talent is using the talents, gifts, and/or skills in serving God.
  • Treasure is giving tithing to God and charities.

Meeting Times

First Thursday of the Month at 7PM in Room 8.

How can you contribute your Stewardship?

As mentioned above, stewardship is giving your time, talents, and treasures to your Lord, community, and parish.

      • Plumbing
      • Finishing
      • Excavating
    • Lighting in the rose garden and church grounds
    • CCD teacher
    • Ministry leadership
    • Event support (leadership and general support)
    • Prayer or mediation
    • Ask about how you can help with other projects!
  • Treasures
    • Support by help funding a particular parish project
    • General donations to our parish
    • Donation toward our Building Fund
